How to get a Temporary Hoisting Permit?
In order to obtain a Temporary Hoisting Permit you will need to identify the type of permit required (Loader, Excavator and/or Backhoe). These are noted in our equipment descriptions so you can ensure you are getting the correct license classification. The typical cost per classification is $25. You will be required to complete a short online course, approximately 45 minutes. Once you have completed this course you may complete the booking process. Proof of course completion will be required before delivery. Upon delivery of the equipment a 15 minute or more hands on training will be conducted at which time you will be issued your Temporary Hoisting Permit. It will be effective for 14 days from the issue date.
You can complete the online training course at the link below. You will be asked for a Rental Facility ID Number, Enter 0150172 .
